Designer Cong Tri will send fashion fans a special collection inspired by fashion icon Coco Chanel.

Since 2015, Cong Tri has had a collection of ao dai inspired by Coco, on the occasion of her birthday.

The photo set introduces some designs in the `Beloved Coco` collection shown by the Top 3 Miss Universe Vietnam 2017: H’Hen Nie, Hoang Thuy, Mau Thuy.

Today, I started choosing fabric, I wanted to find a material for the ao dai but it’s not really just an ao dai.

Ao dai made of Tweed, Silk and Brocade with carefully quilted lining and a small hand-braided chain at the hem.

The sky in Saigon is gray and heavy, as if a heavy rain could pour down at any moment.

The proud and brilliant flowers are delicately hand-embroidered or glued into each petal fold…

The petite hats were decorated with lace flowers and pearls.

I still think of her every step of the way, as if moving towards a source of brilliant and pure energy.
