What is tranexamic acid and how does it work?
Tranexamic Acid – or international scientific name is trans-4-(Aminomethyl)cyclohexanecarboxylic acid.

According to Dr. Debra Jaliman (board-certified dermatologist in New York City, USA), Tranexamic acid has the effect of slowing down the synthesis of melanin.
Advantages and disadvantages of Tranexamic acid?
Although it is the same acid, Tranexamic acid does not have dead skin removal properties like acids in the AHA and BHA groups.

In a 2006 study published on Sciencedirect and a 2016 study published on the National library of medicine, TXA was effective in reducing the redness signs of rosacea thanks to its ability to restore the natural protective barrier.
